iFathom has become a workforce solutions company and a trusted staffing partner to the Government of Canada, Financial institutions, R&D companies, Telecommunications and Insurance companies.

The Beginnings

In 1992, two men were commissioned by the Royal Canadian Navy to build an integrated information system to optimize the availability of weapons and equipment systems required to support the day-to-day operations of the navy’s vessels.

Pre-1992, the Royal Canadian Navy logistics system comprised of dozens of MS Access and Excel databases and a few departmental custom computer applications.
 
Since then iFathom has transformed into a rapidly growing workforce management company supporting the Federal Government, Non-Profit, Banking & Insurance, Utilities, Telecom, and Technology companies across Canada. Specializing in Information Technology, iFathom has been able to build core expertise in providing resources within application development, networking, cloud & devops, and infrastructure technological segments.

Enterprise Logistic Solution

iFathom’s enterprise logistic solution became the single source for connecting the Navy’s engineering and maintenance information systems from the front line to shipyards, headquarters, and to industry suppliers. 

Once live, this solution provided the navy with a centralized enterprise-wide logistics system and with workflow automation that saved the navy millions of dollars in annual operation costs and greatly improved their operational efficiencies.

In order for the two men to build the logistics system they required niche talent to augment their own knowledge and so was born iFathom, an IT staffing company. Fast forward 20 plus years and iFathom has become a workforce solutions company and a trusted staffing partner to the Government of Canada, Financial institutions, R&D companies, Telecommunications and Insurance companies.
